March and April activities of " The World Is Ours"

As the first activity included in the March plan of our project 'The World is Ours ',films and documentaries about global warming and climate change were watched in our classrooms,and subsequently,class boards  were created by our students and their awareness on the subject was increased.Also in March,our students prepared postcards by using Web 2 tools and handmade ones related to the goals of our project and provided seeds to send to other partner schools.For this planned exchange,partner schools were matched and our students prepared their seeds and postcards on which they wrote their wishes to post.But due to the closure of schools in our country and Europe because of Covid-19 pandemic that the world is currently struggling,we had to delay this activity.Despite this negative and distressing duration,as the project partners,on 18th March,2020 we carried out an efficient online webinar where we talked about the goals of our project,our studies,the point we reached,the activities and collaborative products we can do.Within the scope of 22 March Water Day,which is directly related to the objectives of our project,we made online discussions with our students on the subject and made them prepare posters to draw attention to this important issue and raise awareness.

In April,we had online meetings with our students on Covid-19 and the ways to project ourselves and all project partners made a collaborative video in accordance with the "14-day rules".

Until the distance education is over,we will continue our project activities online without losing our desire and determination.
